The presence of Australian spin legend and mentor Shane Warne in the dugout this season has boosted the morale of the Rajasthan Royals squad.
However, Warne, who was expected to join the Royals on Tuesday, will now land in the country on Sunday instead, some last-minute 'technical issues' leading to the delay in his arrival.
Warne took to Twitter to confirm the development.
Good luck to the @rajasthanroyals in the play offs. Apologies I can’t be there with you on Wednesday & Friday, but will see you Sunday for the final. Remember the things we’ve spoken about re playing finals / big games - you’re ready & I’m so proud of you all. You’ve got this

Warne, who had left for Melbourne last week to attend the birthday celebrations of his son and daughter, is expected to reach Kolkata late on Tuesday.
Returning to the IPL after a two-year suspension, Royals had appointed Warne as its mentor in a move that has reaped dividends this season.
Warne has ensured that the players remain rejuvenated even in the face of defeat. "His return ahead of the playoffs would have certainly helped the side," the source added. However, it would be interesting to see whether the Aussie lands in India in case the Royals fail to qualify for the final.
But then, having led the Royals to its first-ever IPL title in 2008, Warne would be hoping to finish things off on a winning note this time around.
